TGI FRIDAY FREEBIE

Hope you all had a great week. The last two days, we had some beautiful weather. It was so nice to be outside and take advantage of the warm sun.

This weeks giveaway is two sheets of Bold Brights (One Brilliant Blue and One Tempting Turquoise) Petal Cards and Tags sheets. These were really hard to get a picture of so I punched out all the pieces (which will make mailing easier). This made it easier to see all the pieces you will receive.
To enter to win, just leave a comment on this post sharing your favorite Easter candy! One comment per person, please. The winner will be selected randomly on Monday, March 17th at noon CST.

Good Luck Everyone!

Stamps By Mail

Here are the other two projects the Stamps By Mail club for February. We worked with Stampin' Pastels. I really love that there are so many effects you can get from using them.

On this card, we used Versmark to stamp off the Old Olive Pastels. And of course, Embrace Life stamp set was used. Love that set!

This is a bookmark we made. Ginger Blossom paper was used for the sleeve and Cameo Coral was used for the inside base as well as the Pastels for the flower. I used my Old Olive marker to ink the stamp and for Embrace Life at the bottom. Wouldn't this be a great gift for someone!

Interested in Stamps By Mail, drop me a line. You will make projects each month in the comfort of your own home! Email me today for more information.

Happy 4th Birthday...

Today was my daughter's 4th birthday. I surprised her with a Rocket cake from Little Einsteins. She really liked it a lot. I was really happy with the way it came out so I thought I would share it with you. I got the directions to make it from http://www.andreasrecipes.com/2006/11/11/little-einsteins-rocket-birthday-cake/

This photo was adjusted through my photo editor. I didn't even think that the foil would effect the pictures but it did a bit.
Anyhow, I'm not a baker (love to cook but not bake) so I think this came out pretty good. I bought a spare cake mix just in case this didn't look like it was going to make it! But I didn't need to use it!
Have a great day.
